This is a magnificent pair of antique double-arm Tudor sconces, dating from the 1920’s, with fleur-de-lis accents. Each sconce features a shield-shaped backplate bordered in rope detail with acanthus leaf accents and crowned with an anthemion. A square arm extends from the middle of the backplate, ending in a splendid, vertical twisted rod, supported by a curled band. The rod is accented with a finial on each end. A rectangular platform on each sconce, bordered in fleurs-de-lis and scallops, supports the two lights. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 21 ½†tall, 5 ¾†wide, and project 7†from the wall.
