This gorgeous set of four double arm sconces dates from the 1920s. The back plates are of a unique oval type cameo style, exhibiting a blossom within the center, bordered with a grove about the edge, and adorned with acanthus leaves and scrolled details. Each sconce arm extends from the center, flanking an original non-functioning turn switch, and meeting its destination in a base, which supports the sconce’s bobeche. The ribbed bobeches are modest, and show simple cast flower bud gadrooning about the rim. These wall lamps have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. *These sconces are marked Kaylite Co. on the backside (see last image). We kept the original nonfunctional antique turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. The price is for a pair; THERE IS NOW ONLY ONE PAIR AVAILABLE. The measurements are 9 ¼†long measured, 8 ¼†wide, and protrude 3 ¼†from the wall.
