A wonderful pair of antique cast iron Gothic Revival single-arm sconces, featuring trefoil detail and a faux-hammered surface. Dating from the 1920’s, these sconces feature an arched backplate with sloping sides. The top of each sconce is accented with a decorative hook, and the bottom corners feature trefoil detail. The base is finished in a ring with a double twist. The arm extends from the lower part of the sconce to support an understated, faux-hammered bobeche with a round button at its base. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with working turn switches; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 12-3/8†tall, 4-5/8†wide, and project 4-1/4†from the wall.
