A gorgeous pair of antique double-arm sconces, circa 1910, in their original gilded finish with prisms. Each sconce is crowned with an urn-shaped top, featuring bellflower garlands and leaf details. Hanging in front is a glass ornamental flower with a prism, and glass bead garlands are strung down to meet each bobeche. The oval backplate is detailed with scrolling foliage and acanthus leaves. A pair of smooth arms extends from the center of the backplate, each supporting an elegantly understated bobeche. Hanging from each bobeche are six beautiful icicle prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 8-1/4" wide, 12" tall, and project 4-1/4" from the wall.
