This is a stunning pair of antique double-arm mirrored figural sconces in gilded brass, dating from the first quarter of the 20th Century. These gilt sconces feature an oval mirror with an anthemion border; each sconce is crowned with a cherub’s face in a shell above acanthus leaves and bellflower garlands. Two reeded, gilded arms extend from the bottom of the sconce, supporting sleek bobeches. The sconce finishes in a cluster of grapes. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 8 ½†wide, 16†tall, and have a projection of 7â€.
