This is a fabulous set of six matching antique Federal style figural sconces, dating from the 1930’s, made of gleaming nickel-plated brass. Each sconce features an intricate bald eagle perched atop a smooth round back plate, which is accented with an understated grooved border and features a round button in the center, encircled with a simple groove. The arm curves downward from base of the back plate and arcs back up to accept a modest bobeche. The wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 7 ¾†tall, 4†wide, and protrude 4 ½†from the wall. THE PRICE IS FOR ONE PAIR OF SCONCES; THERE ARE NOW ONLY TWO PAIRS AVAILABLE.
