Charming antique two-arm sconce in its original polychrome finish, featuring pink and green floral accents. Marked with patent date and signature “M.L.P", the sconce was made in 1927 by Markel Lighting Products of Buffalo, NY. This cream-colored wall lamp is crowned by a volute and foliate top finial; below, the backplate has a seeded texture with florets, leaves, and a full flower centerpiece. Extending from the back plate, two sconce arms support beaded and gadrooned bobeches. This wall lamp is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switch for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace it with a new one if desired. The sconce is 7-1/8" wide, 9-1/2" tall, and projects 3†from the wall. Coordinating sconces are available under items NSP749-RW, NSP750-RW, and NSP73-RW. A coordinating flush mount is available under item NC1399-RW.
