Gorgeous pair of antique one arm silver sconces with original glass shades, c. 1905, salvaged from Indianapolis, IN. These sconces begin with a round backplate with a radial leaf and beading pattern. An S-shaped arm with scrolling acanthus leaves extends out to support the foliate fitter and glass shade. The original glass shades are gadrooned with a delicately scalloped rim. Each sconce measures 9" wide, 9-1/4" tall and projects 14" from the wall. The glass shades measure 16" wide.
