Fabulous pair of antique two-arm sconces, dating from the early 1900s. These Neoclassical sconces are crowned by an urn and swag adornment, moving down to a shield-shaped backplate. The hammered-texture backplate features floral, foliate, and rope details, with draped festoon near the base. The two sconce arms have flower and leaf embellishments, each supporting a decorative bobeche. The sconces finish in three final bellflower finials. The wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original non-functioning turn switches for nostalgia sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. The sconces measure 7-7/8" wide, 11-3/4" tall, and project 3" from the wall. Matching sconces available under item #NSP214-RW.
