A gorgeous pair of antique single-arm silver plated sconces, dating from the early 1900’s. These Georgian sconces were salvaged from Cincinnati, Ohio. They feature a shield-shaped backplate crowned by a pelta and scrolling foliage. Decorative ropework borders the backplate, surrounding a central oval panel with delicate ribbon details. A ribbed sconce arm extends from the center of the oval, supporting a gadrooned bobeche. The backplate tapers down and finishes with leaf and volute details. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 4-3/8" wide, 11-5/8" tall, and projects 6-1/2" from the wall. Matching sconces (shown in the last photo) are listed separately under item NSP690-RW, and coordinating two-arm sconces available under item NSP688-RW.
