A magnificent pair of antique double-arm figural sconces in cast bronze, dating from the 1920’s. Inspired by the British royal coat of arms, the sconces feature a lion on the left and a unicorn on the right, with a crown above and thistles between on a crimson background. A sconce arm extends to either side, each holding a crenellated bobeche with a foliate finial below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 10†tall, 10†wide, and project 4-1/2†from the wall.
