Circa 1930's, these sconces are showing a nice contrast between black and pewter color with nickel plated fitters and mounting nut. That ball finial below the shade is actually the switch for turning the sconce on and off. Nicely disguised as decoration, it is functional.
Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal bakelite sockets for everyday medium base bulbs with that mentioned switch have been installed in each one. The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied.
A very nice pair of American made late 30's sconces.
Measurements: 9" tall. The shade has a maximum diameter of 5" while the round part of the backplate has a diameter of 4 1/2". Projects into a room from the wall at 6 5/8".
For the complete, UL re-wired pair of sconces, $325.00 plus careful shipping.
