A stunning pair of antique three-arm Gothic Revival sconces, dating from the 19th Century, in their original silver plate. These large sconces each feature an oval backplate with a flower-like center surrounded by a guilloche border. The body of the sconce features exquisite casting, with trefoil and quatrefoil detail, and elegant foliate finials at the top and bottom. The triple arms feature amazing detail with cutouts and leaf detail. Each arm supports a crown-like bobeche with a cutout trefoil border at the bottom and projecting trefoils at the top, with a foliate border at the center of the bobeche, supporting the light. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure approx. 18-1/2†tall, 10†wide, and project approx. 8-1/4†from the wall.
