Beautiful pair of antique Neoclassical double arm sconces, circa 1910, in their original silver plate over pewter. These wall lamps feature an elegant backplate crowned with urns and featuring volute and foliate details. Two S-shaped sconce arms extend out from near the base of the fixture, each supporting a silver plated bobeche with deep undulations and an inverted scalloped edge. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switch for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace it with a new one if desired. The sconces measure 8-1/2" wide, 10-3/4" tall, and project 5" from the wall.
