A remarkable pair of antique single-arm Spanish Revival sconces in their original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920’s. Each sconce features a backplate ornamented with a red flower at the top and a rope border throughout, finishing in a cluster of polychrome leaves and berries at the bottom. The sconce arm is in the shape of a stemmed flower with polychrome accents, and it supports a foliate bobeche with a laurel-leaf border. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces are 13-3/4†tall, 4-5/8†wide, and project 6-1/2†from the wall.
