An amazing pair of antique double-arm Spanish Revival sconces in cast iron, dating from the 1920’s and retaining their original polychrome finish. The backplate of each sconce features a crown at the top, with blue fringed swags below. The middle of the backplate is ornamented with a large shield crossed with a red band and accented with blue fleur-de-lis. Hammered iron sconce arms support bobeches ornamented with a torsade border and polychrome volutes, with a crest finial below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure approx. 11†tall, 9-3/4†wide, and project 4-1/2†from the wall. A matching pair of sconces is also available, item # NSP622-RW.
