A remarkable pair of antique cast iron figural sconces, featuring a man on a horse, and dating from the 1920’s. These double-arm Spanish Revival sconces feature a hammered, shield-shaped backplate with acanthus accents. The center of the backplate features a rearing horse with a knight in armor. Each sconce arm is ornamented with a crest and a crenelated bobeche above. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 10-3/8" tall, 11" wide, and project 3-5/8" from the wall.
