This is a beautiful pair of antique double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s, in their original silver plate over pewter. Made and signed by Lincoln Company, the sconces are crowned with silver plated floral and foliate detail, with a sunburst adorning the backplate. Leaf and volute detail at the bottom of each sconce blends into a sconce arm, which supports a beautifully detailed bobeche ornamented with flowers and leaves. Above each light is a shade formed of icicle prisms, hanging from a ring ornamented with the same decorative detail found on the bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces are 13 ¾†tall, 11 ¼†wide, and project 3 ½†from the wall.
