Charming antique Arts & Crafts sconce, c. 1910, with original slag glass. The light fixture's circular cast iron backplate has beaded trim with a scrolling arm that extends up and attaches to the roof of the lantern body. The body is composed of four panels of beautiful amber slag glass, accented at the corners with florets. A curved, V-shaped iron band, fastened at the ends with florets, crosses each panel near the top of the lantern. This light fixture is in very good antique condition with a few small dings in the roof. The glass has no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected flea bites around the rim. The wall mount lantern has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The fixture measures 6" wide, 9-1/2" tall, and projects 8" from the wall.
