This is a delightful pair of antique single-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s, in their original polychrome finish. The sconces are signed by their maker, the L. & M. Company. The back plate of each sconce features a volute-crowned anthemion with subtle pink accents and a delicate blue beaded border with geometric detail. The center of the back plate is ornamented with a floret button. The sconce arm, with volute and foliate detail, extends from the bottom of the back plate, ending in an intricate bobeche with bead and volute accents. The wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. These sconces measure 4 ½†wide, 11 ½†tall, and have a 3†projection.
