Pair of elegant antique one arm sconces in their original nicely-worn silver plate over pewter finish. Patented in 1921, these wall fixtures feature a shield-shaped backplate. These sconces have beautiful decorative details of garlands, foliage, fluting, and a fleur-de-lis crowning the top. The scrolling sconce arm reaches up to support a bobeche with gadrooning and a bead and reel border. From each bobeche hangs a circle of sparkling prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 4 5/8" wide, 12" tall, and projects 6 1/4" from the wall.
