Gorgeous pair of antique Adam style single-arm sconces, in their original silver plate over pewter. Made by Empire, circa 1910, the sconces feature a beautifully detailed shield-shaped backplate, crowned with an urn and bordered in foliate detail. A leaf-detailed arm extends from the bottom of the backplate, supporting a silver plated bobeche with a geometric pattern. These wall lamps are in very good antique condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces are 8-3/4†tall, 4†wide, and project 4†from the wall. Matching sconces available under items NSP707-RW and NSP708-RW.
