This is a handsome pair of early 20th century single-arm sconces in the Arts and Crafts style. They have elongated back plates with tree bark like texture; foliate details at the bottom of the backs; interesting cut outs in the upper portion of the backs; and a hook-like finial at the top. A simple arm sprouts from each back plate and curves up accept a gadrooned bobeche. The wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia sake; however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. They are 12†long, 4 5/8†wide, and protrude 4 ½†from the wall.
