Circa 1930s, these sconces have been restored (cleaned up) and re-lacquered, but touches of the polychrome paint are still there. Lincoln called these sconces “The Triangle Lineâ€. In their catalog, Lincoln says: “The triangle line gets its name from the suggestion of angles in the design, which add the modernistic effect to the style.â€
The shades are deeply embossed like carving and the design is excellent.
Electrical: These sconces have been totally rewired in our UL shop. Normal bakelite sockets for everyday medium base bulbs have been installed, just like the originals. A rotary on/off switch has been renewed as well. The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied.
