An elegant antique Adam style single-arm sconce, in its original silver plate over pewter. Made by Empire, circa 1910, this sconce features a beautifully detailed shield-shaped backplate, crowned with an urn and bordered in foliate detail. A leaf-detailed arm extends from the bottom of the backplate, supporting a silver plated bobeche with a geometric pattern. This wall lamp is in very good antique condition with a beautifully aged finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switch for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace it with a new one if desired. The sconce is 8-3/4†tall, 4†wide, and projects 4-1/2†from the wall. A matching pair of sconces is also available, item # NSP707-RW.
