A fascinating antique single-arm figural sconce with a cottage design, made by Alfred W. Reiser of Toledo, Ohio, in the 1920’s. The sconce features a square backplate ornamented with a red house surrounded by green trees, with scrollwork and leaves at the top and bottom of the sconce. The sconce arm holds a cutout bobeche with an open scroll design. This wall lamp is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switch for nostalgia's sake; however, we will gladly replace it with a new one if desired. The sconce measures 4-1/2" wide, 11" tall, and projects 5-1/4" from the wall. A matching double-arm sconce is also available, item NSP757-RW.
