This is a fabulous pair of antique single-arm Spanish Revival sconces, dating from the 1920’s and retaining their original polychrome finish. The sconces feature a hammered backplate crowned with volutes and flowing foliate detail. Below, the sconce arm ends in a bold foliate design with red and turquoise flowers. Above the leaf design, the arm is accented with a quatrefoil, supporting a cutout bobeche with red leaves. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces are 10 ¾†tall, 4 ¾†wide, and project 4 ½†from the wall.
