A wonderful pair of antique gilded single-arm sconces, signed by E. F. Caldwell and dating from the early 1900’s. Each sconce features a round backplate with a flower in the center, surrounded by a garland. The outer edge of the backplate is bordered in a husk pattern. A sleek arm comes down from the bottom of the backplate to support a bobeche with a rope border. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired. The sconces measure 8 ¼†tall, 3 ¼†wide, and project 5 ¾†from the wall.
