This is a splendid pair of antique Gothic Revival sconces, with their original flashed glass cylinders, dating from the 1930’s. These exterior sconces feature a rectangular, hammered backplate with a beveled edge; each sconce features a white flashed glass cylinder encircled by quatrefoil cutout bands. The sconce features a round roof with a ball finial; three hammered bands descend from the roof to the bottom of the sconce. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 10†tall, 5 ½†wide, and projects 5 ¾†from the wall. They are suitable for either interior or exterior use, and would be perfect for any Tudor, Gothic Revival, or Spanish Revival décor.
