Pair of fantastic antique English Tudor exterior lanterns with crackled glass, dating from the 1920's. Suitable for either interior or exterior use, these sconces feature a fabulous hammered texture throughout. Each fixture has a round backplate with a scrolled bracket extending out to the sloped roof with strap design. A figural dog's head crowns the top of the roof. Below, the lantern features a crackled glass cylinder in a hammered body with whimsical curved panels. These fixtures are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in very good condition with the expected fleabites around the edges; there is a small hairline crack near the base of the fixture as pictured. The sconces are 6" wide and 12" tall, and project 7-1/2" from the wall. A matching lantern is available under item # NC1157-RW.
