This is an impressive and rare early 1900 s two-light lantern with its original curved flashed milk glass cylinder. The lantern has a dome-shaped top with anthemion crowns and a large bronze quatrefoil finial. Below the dome, is a scalloped ring that is joined to a corresponding bottom ring by four bead-and-reel detailed straps with fabulously cast cherubs as top finials, and well-designed honeysuckle bottom finials. The lantern re-lights by a bottom door that houses the original convex round glass panel. The lantern is in excellent condition. There are no breaks or cracks to the glass. It has been professionally rewired, and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 11 , the length of the lantern only is 38 , and the overall length is 71 . There is a matching lantern also available with item number NC391-RW. The only difference is that the second lantern does not have any bottom glass.
