Here is a California compliant UL lighting fixture originally from the mid 50’s/60’s, but now rehabbed to be current to UL and CA use standards.

These fascinating fixtures were often under-lit with either one incandescent light bulb, or a series of small chandelier bulbs.

We have changed those incandescent fittings to one GU-10 fitting, as required for energy savings in California, and now becoming a standard for rehab and new construction. This fixture now proudly presents a 27 watt LED SMD bulb giving about twice the light as the original did, but for nearly ¾ less electricity. Now that’s energy savings!!

A UL label is affixed to each fixture.

The light itself is a very fine craftsman case. While most lights on the market now use straight FLAT beveled panels, earlier lights (like this one) received a quality glass working by making curved beveled panels. This light has curved panels at both the top and at the bottom of the fixture.

Very substantial quality treatment. This surely makes a very nice hallway or vestibule light for sure.

You do receive the 27 watt LED bulb that is shown in the fixture. Replacements (when it finally burns out in thousands of hours) can be purchased from us.
