A delightful antique Colonial Revival lantern with its original hand cut glass shade, retaining its darkened nickel finish, c.1930. This one-light pendant begins with an understated canopy coming down in a chain to a loop finial composed of volutes. The finial connects to the fixture with a flared section that sits atop four darkened nickel balusters which encase the original cylindrical glass shade. The frosted glass cylinder has wheel-cut design of grape clusters and leaves. The light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The shade is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The pendant body measures 6" wide, 12-1/4" tall and 25-1/4" long overall.
