A charming antique flush mount lantern in the Arts & Crafts style, dating from the early 1900's. This light was originally an exterior lantern, but could be used as either an interior or exterior fixture. The lantern features a rustic pine tree design on three sides, and diagonal stripes on the fourth. Historically, the reason for the irregular striped side was to display house numbers, which could be clipped between the two stripes. This ceiling-mount light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The light fixture measures 5-3/4" wide and 8-3/4" tall.
