Seven matching vintage M. G. Wheeler “Sight Light†floor lamps, patented in 1938 and 1940 by Leroy C. Doane. These industrial lights were designed for illumination of a work surface such as a desk or drafting table; the height is adjustable. Each lamp is composed of a pole on a round black base; a curved arm with a black shade can be moved up and down the pole as needed. These would be splendid for any Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern, or industrial style décor. Each lamp measures 38†tall overall minimum and 50†tall when the arm is extended to the top of the lamp. These lamps have been professionally rewired. They measure approx. 18 ½†wide overall, with a 10†base and a 13†projection on the arm from the center pole.
