This is a wonderful pair of antique Neoclassical pewter exterior sconces, dating from the 1920’s. Each sconce features a roof crowned with a flame, and torch-like side pieces ornamented with laurel leaves. The laurel border runs down the center of the curved glass panel and across the bottom of the sconce. The wall lamps are in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The sconces have been professionally rewired, and measure 12 ½†tall, 8 ¾†wide, and project 3 ¾†from the wall.
