Delightful antique exterior Arts & Crafts lantern with original slag granite glass, dating from the early 1900s. This hammered brass lantern begins in an understated canopy and chain, moving down to a four-sided sloped roof with hammered brass body. The body has horizontal and vertical bands that create a one-over-two panel pattern on each of the four sides. Beneath are panes of original amber slag granite glass. This pendant light is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The lantern is suitable for either interior or exterior use and measures 4-1/4" wide (6" wide diagonally), 9-1/2" tall, and 19-1/8" long overall.
