This is a magnificent pair of antique Art Deco exterior sconces, dating from the 1920’s and made of copper. These large wall-mount lanterns are crowned with a steeple finial atop a hexagonal roof, and feature a bold ziggurat shape with stepped white glass panels bordered in black. Each sconce has a long six-sided backplate, and has a hinged door in the side to facilitate changing the bulbs. These wall lamps are in good antique condition with some minor dents throughout (see photos). The glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The lanterns have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 32†tall, 13†wide, and projects 15 ¼†from the wall.
