This is a fabulous antique exterior sconce, dating from the early 1900’s. This copper lantern sconce is crowned with a ball finial and ornamented with a simple scalloped border at the edge of the roof and the base. The body is formed of a glass cylinder, surrounded by riveted copper bands. The sconce has a simple, rectangular back plate with a foliate button. This wall lamp is in excellent condition with a lovely patina, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconce is 21†tall, 7 ¼†wide, and has a 9†projection.
