Antique lantern flush mount fixture with original verdigris finish and opalescent glass, salvaged out of New York and dating from the early 1900s. This bronze light has a simple fitter with two circular stripes, coming down to a stepped square lantern roof. The four-sided lantern body features two intersecting bands on each side, with a stylized fleur-de-lis near the top. Four panels of original textured opalescent glass sit behind the iron band work. This lantern is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The flush mount is suitable for either interior or exterior use and measures 6-3/4" wide by 9-3/4" tall.
