This is an amazing antique exterior lantern, dating from the 1920’s. Made of iron, the sconce features a hexagonal backplate with a round arm coming out to a sloped hexagonal roof atop a lantern composed of six panels of clear granite glass. A wrought iron piece runs from the top of the lantern, then between the sconce arm and the backplate, ending in a curl against the wall. This wall lamp is in excellent condition with a green painted finish, and the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The lantern has been professionally rewired; it measures 11 ¼†tall, 5 ¾†wide, and projects 10 ¼†from the wall. This porch light is suitable for either interior or exterior use.
