This is a charming antique Tudor hanging lantern, dating from the 1920’s, with its original glass cylinder. The lantern begins with a simple loop finial atop a sloped roof with a crimped border; below, black bands cross a clear glass cylinder. The bottom of the lantern features a crimped lower edge, with clear glass in the bottom of the lantern to allow light to shine downward. The chandelier is in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The fixture has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The lantern body is 5 ½†wide and 9 ½†long; the fixture is 25 ¼†long overall. This pendant light is suitable for either interior or exterior use and would make a lovely porch light.
