A delightful antique Arts & Crafts exterior lantern, dating from the 1930’s. Found in Detroit, MI, this pendant light is made of copper and features its original hammered amber glass. The lantern begins with a hexagonal canopy, coming down in a chain to a small loop finial atop a six-sided sloped roof. Below, the amber glass panels are bordered with curved copper pieces, and a hinged panel at the bottom opens to facilitate changing the bulb. It is suitable for either interior or exterior use. This porch light is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The lantern is 8-1/2†wide, 9-1/2†tall (body only), and 28-1/2†long overall.
