This is a fantastic antique copper semi-flush mount lantern with verdigris. Dating from the late 19th Century, this large lantern retains its original glass cylinder, turned purple from sun exposure. The lantern begins with a simple canopy that attaches to a bold copper loop; below, the lantern features a round sloped roof and a hand-riveted frame, with the lavender glass cylinder inside. The chandelier is in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. This light fixture has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The lantern is 8†wide and 21†tall. This light is suitable for either interior or exterior use and would make a lovely porch light.
