This very uncommon lantern-style chandelier is of exceptional size. Originally manufactured and sold by Williamson Company for $72.61 in 1902, this lighting fixture is of extraordinary quality. The chandelier is constructed of iron with hand riveting throughout, including the canopy, the cage surrounding the glass, and the clips which hold the glass in place. Four original pieces of granite-textured, green slag-glass, showing no breaks or cracks, casts a warm and alluring glow. The top cluster of this remarkable piece is made-up of four bent straps each of which ending skillfully in a riveted trefoil. The light fixture is in excellent condition, and the original mica insulated Bryant turn-sockets were rewired and kept for the sake of originality. It comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This chandelier is 34 '' at it''s widest; the length of the chandelier only is 22''; the total length is 56''.
