This is a fabulous antique Victorian two-light brass chandelier with wheel-cut shades, dating from the early 1900’s. This early electric light fixture begins with a simple canopy, coming down in a pole to an orb-shaped body encircled with a gadrooned band. The chandelier arms extend from either side, each supporting a hand-cut shade with starbursts and a scalloped border. This light fixture is in excellent condition; the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This light fixture measures 29 1/2†wide, approx. 8†tall (body only), and approx. 40 ½†long overall.
