This is a fabulous antique five-light transitional chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a hammered canopy accented with leaves, and comes down in a chain to a bold, reeded finial with an intricately cast volute crown. The urn-shaped chandelier body features a hammered surface. Five arms, accented with shield-shaped finials, extend outward to support simple bobeches. The chandelier finishes with a beautifully cast, dangling finial swathed in acanthus leaves. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20 ½†wide and 20†tall, and the fixture is 39 ½†long overall.
