A fabulous antique five-light chandelier in its original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a loop finial composed of overlapping geometric shapes, coming down to a body formed by flat iron bands ornamented all over with a subtle design of flowers and leaves. Each band is accented with a red polychrome floret button, with a second flower connecting each chandelier arm to the body. The arms support wide red foliate bobeches. A slender metal rod runs the length of the chandelier, ending in a polychrome finial with a triangle design. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20-1/2†wide and 22†tall, and the fixture is 38-5/8†long overall.
