A striking antique six-light Art Deco chandelier in its original silver plate over brass, dating from the 1930’s, with its original flashed glass panels. The chandelier begins with an Art Deco canopy ornamented with a zigzag border, coming down in a chain to a geometric loop finial. Five white flashed glass panels surround a light in the center of the chandelier. Piece of black glass extend between the flashed glass panels, crossed with silver lightning bolts. The chandelier arms are ornamented with volute detail, and each holds a black downward-facing bobeche with a ziggurat border and a pointed black finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, the expected fleabites around the edges. The chandelier body measures 19-1/2†wide and 19-1/4†tall, and the fixture is 34-1/2†long overall (all measurements approximate).
