This is a superb antique six-tier chandelier with its original crystal prisms and Bakelite details, dating from the 1920’s. This four-light “wedding cake” chandelier begins with a sleek chrome canopy. Below, the chandelier features splendid chrome detail with Bakelite columns and a Bakelite orb, above a pierced chrome band ornamented with crests and foliate detail. Below, the chandelier continues in six tiers of stunning zipper-cut crystal spears, and is finished in a faceted crystal ball. This light fixture is in very good antique condition; the Bakelite orb is cracked on two sides (pictured). The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body is 14 ¾” wide and 31” long; the fixture is 50 ¾” long overall.
